Mazars – a good fit for your first step

So you’re considering a graduate career with Mazars. Perhaps you have always aspired to work in accountancy or professional services, maybe you know a friend or relative that already works here, possibly you are open minded and want to explore your options, or perchance you are just trying to appease one of our enthusiastic representatives at a campus Milk Round.
Whatever your reasons I am sure you are looking for a stimulating and challenging career, and want to work for a firm that is passionate about your personal and professional development as you make the next big step in life.

I am pleased to say that Mazars can offer you all of this and more. If you want to get under the bonnet of a business and work out what makes it tick, then there is nowhere better than an integrated professional services firm. Whether you aspire to work in our Audit, Tax, or Advisory service lines, you will get exposure to how major organisations in a multitude of sectors put food on the shelves, turn a profit or deliver essential public services.

Mazars is not the sort of firm where you are simply expected to make up the numbers, or just be part of the machine. You are respected as an individual, and as a mid-tier accountancy firm you can expect a high degree of flexibility on the sectors and disciplines you are exposed to. You can expect opportunities to learn new things and experience varied challenges in a way you wouldn’t get at a larger, more impersonal firm.

These opportunities combined with a structured and supportive work environment make Mazars the ideal place to develop the professional skills and capabilities you’ll need as you embark on what is hopefully a long, and successful career.

As a first step towards this, Mazars are launching an applicant mentoring scheme to make sure you have the support and advice you need from somebody who has been there and done that already in our applications process. You will have the option to request a mentor after passing the first interview stage; your mentor will be a point of personal contact and a source of support, advice and guidance when you are going through our recruitment process.

Good luck, and I hope to see you soon!
